Summer Slimdown Circuit

Full-body outdoor workout

Summer is only weeks away, and for many of us that means taking our workouts outside! Whether you head out to a park or the beach, try one of my fun and effective full-body summer circuits!

Beach or Park Summer Circuit

• Warm up with a 5-minute run (sand, grass or pavement)

Summer Slimdown Circuit - Full-body outdoor workout
• Side Lunges with a band, staying low to the ground
• 10 steps each way, rest for 20 seconds, then repeat 4 times

2-minute rest

Summer Slimdown Circuit - Full-body outdoor workout

• 25 squats with or without weight

Summer Slimdown Circuit - Full-body outdoor workout

• 15 incline push-ups (off stairs or bench)

Summer Slimdown Circuit - Full-body outdoor workout

• 15 triceps dips off bench

Summer Slimdown Circuit - Full-body outdoor workout

• 25 crunches

2-minute rest, then repeat the 4 exercises 2 to 3 times

Summer Slimdown Circuit - Full-body outdoor workout

• Finish with a 5-minute Stair Run, (each time up switching between single and double steps)

*If you don’t have access to stairs, do 4 sets of 15 step-ups on a bench
