Training Journal #25: Chest Training

Maintain a Balanced Physique!

Training Journal #25: Chest Training
Hello FitnessRx Women,

I want to talk about chest training today! This muscle group can vary depending on your goals and your physique. When it comes to having implants (breast augmentation), I believe it is important to train with lighter weight and focus on training only using incline chest exercises. This will help prevent the muscle from pushing down and spreading the implants apart. It will also give you enough of a workout to develop your pectorals and maintain a balanced physique.

Incline Cable Raises

Training Journal #25: Chest Training4 sets/15 reps
• Keep arms at sides
• Slowly and controlled, raise arms up and together
• Focus on using your pec muscles as you raise the cables
• Keep arms straight and abs tight the entire set

Incline Bench Flyes

4 sets/15 reps
• Holding dumbbells in each hand, lie on a 45-degree incline bench
• Squeeze pecs as you raise dumbbells up and together
• Like previous exercise, keep abs tight with a slight bend in the elbow
• As you lower weight to open position, make sure your hands do not drop below chest line
