Mastering the Plank for a Strong Core

Correct Form Key to Whole Body Exercise

THE PLANK – are you even doing it right?

If you aren’t doing a plank correctly, you aren’t working the core as much as you can be. If you are feeling the plank more in your shoulders or lower back than your abs, you need to revisit your form!

Form is #1! We need to focus on QUALITY over quantity, always! I would rather you hold a 20-second plank with good form than 2-minute plank with bad form.

Check out my Plank 101 video along with common mistakes people make, and be sure you are planking with proper form FIRST before adding new and more challenging variations to your plank.
