Dynamic Warm-up

Get your body ready for work!

To stretch or not to stretch before you train? That is a common question of fitness fanatics. While there isn’t complete agreement amongst researchers, most agree that dynamic stretches (rather than static) are the best way to go. (Save the static stretches for post-workout). Dynamic stretches are a series of movements that will increase core body temperature, warm up your muscles and improve joint mobility.

In this week’s Keep It Fresh, 2013 IFBB Bikini Olympia Champion Ashley Kaltwasser and her coach IFBB Pro Summer Montabone, CSCS share a DYNAMIC WARM-UP that’ll get your body ready to work–no matter what kind of training you have planned. Watch this video and give Ashley’s pre-workout ritual a try this week!
