Chocolate Dipped Strawberries - Simple, Healthy Treat for Valentine's Day

SIMPLY CHOCOLATE DIPPED STRAWBERRIES

Ingredients

1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
2 TB coconut oil
6 extra large strawberries
hot water

How to Prepare

1. Rinse and dry the strawberries very well (if they are wet, the chocolate coating will not stick as well). Set aside.
2. Put the coconut oil in a small, shallow microwave safe bowl and microwave for 20 seconds, or until the coconut oil is fully melted. Remove from the microwave and stir in the protein powder until the mixture is smooth (if the mixture is too thick, add hot water 1 tsp. at a time until mixture is thin enough to coat the strawberries).
3. Take a strawberry by the stem and quickly dip and roll in the mixture to coat all sides. Place on a plate. Repeat this process with the remaining strawberries.
4. Put in the fridge to cool and set for 10 minutes. Enjoy!
