The Final Stretch

Feeling Great & Enjoying Every Minute!

The Final Stretch
I am now in the FINAL stretch of my pregnancy and I am still rockin’ and rollin’! I ask myself, “Where did this pregnancy go?!” I giggle because I did miss my whole 1st trimester, so I am on a six-month pregnancy plan instead of the typical nine-month plan. This week I am officially 30.5-weeks preggo (seven months), feeling great and I am enjoying very minute of my pregnancy.

Being seven months pregnant, I feel quite big and my baby belly has accidently been bumping into things lately… LOL. But I have to share this with you. This past weekend, I was helping out at Musclecontest.com’s NPC/IFBB Tournament of Champions check-ins, and one of the bikini competitors asked me if I was in line to get my height checkedJ!!! I simply just smiled and said, “No, you can go right ahead J.” I felt extremely flattered as I quietly giggled to myself. I thought to myself, I am definitely nothing close to being stage ready. I also received a wonderful compliment today while I was training at the gym. A gentleman came up to me and asked if I was planning on training all the way through my pregnancy. I told him that I do plan on continuing with my training as long as my doctor continues to give me the go ahead and that there are no precautions. He then said, “Wow, that is great. YOU inspire me!” I guess I am looking pretty good at seven months after all!

I have not slowed down yet. I am still working, training, doing appearances and now house shopping! Yes, we are in the process of purchasing a home and hope to move before our baby angel arrives. People have been asking how my energy levels have been. Honestly, my energy levels have been great! I have this natural, happy high that gets me through my day. I am not taking any caffeine at all, but I am taking extra good care of my precious cargo and myself. I am getting plenty of good nutrition, supplementation, exercise, adequate rest, prenatal massages and proper hydration, as well as seeing my doctor every couple of weeks right now.

The Final StretchNow, for all my fellow preggo ladies out there… 3D ultrasounds are amazing!!!! I have had two so far with my pregnancy, one at 17 weeks for the gender reveal and one at 28 weeks just to see how much our angel has grown. The place I go for my 3D ultrasound is like a spa. The room is so serene, like you are getting a massage, and I get to recline in this comfy bed and there are sofas for family and friends. You then get to watch everything on a 60-inch flat screen TV. Troy and I were there for one hour at our last ultrasound and we just watched our precious angel in amazement. We saw her gorgeous lil’ face and body cuddled amongst the placenta, uterus and amniotic fluid, and we even saw the umbilical cord. She was moving around, kicking, sucking her thumb, stretching and she looked so peaceful, happy and just cozy in there! My heart just melted watching her and of course I got emotional and teary eyed. I have seen our angel grow with each of the ultrasounds (2D and 3D) over the course of my pregnancy and I feel a deeper connection with her each time I get to see her. I’m truly in love. If you have the opportunity, 3D ultrasounds are the way to go!

I wanted to thank you all for continuing to follow in my incredible journey. I am so thankful for all the love, support and compliments that I have received throughout my pregnancy. It continues to motivate me to stay happy, healthy, fit and strong! I have been getting a lot of e-mails with great questions about pregnancy, so in my upcoming blog I will do a Q&A with some of the great questions I have received. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail them to me at Krissychin@gmail.com. Until next time, please take care and be blessed!

With Love,
