Woke up on the wrong side of the bed?

Change it!

The attitude with which you begin your morning usually dictates what the rest of that day will be like. The other day I woke up not in the best mood. I felt tired, I was lazy and even though I got my butt out of bed and did what I had to do, I didn’t get rid of my negative attitude.

Hmmmmm, let’s just say the first part of that day didn’t go as happy and wonderful as I would’ve liked. All of a sudden it clicked! Just because I didn’t jump out of bed that morning with a huge smile on my face and singing happy songs while the birds chirped outside, didn’t mean that my day had to be bad. I realized what I had let my brain do and quickly changed my mindset. I decided that the dragging and blah day I was having would end right there. An immediate feeling of relief rushed my body and it brought the biggest smile to my face. I am in control of me! I am in control of the attitude I carry throughout the day and how I allow different things to affect me. Woooo hooo I made the change and the rest of my day was better than I would’ve pictured that morning.

We are all human and we all have our good days and our bad days. The best we can do is to try to stay aware of our moods and feelings so that we can make the appropriate changes if needed.

Our minds are so powerful and it’s crazy how we can sometimes allow the smallest most insignificant things to ruin our day. No way! Let’s try to eliminate those times as much as possible. Life is too short. Stay positive, my girlies, and good things will come.
