I’m sitting at the airport waiting to board the plane for my flight back home to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. As I’m sitting here waiting, all I can think about is “WOW, I just had such an amazing weekend.” I had been waiting all year for the Bikini Olympia to arrive and it’s already over. I placed third and it feels unreal to me. Onstage, I didn’t know how to react because it was only my second Olympia and I moved from 6th place to 3rd place.
My hard work and sacrifices paid off and I thank God for that. I am overwhelmed and humbled with what I have accomplished this weekend and for all of the support from fans that I received. This experience has reaffirmed that if you work hard, follow your heart and chase those dreams, you can accomplish anything.
I want to thank my amazing coaches, Shannon Dey and Rob Rosetti for guiding me in the right direction and being there for me 24/7. I want to thank, J.M Manion for being the amazing manager that he is, SAN Nutrition for all of their support, and President Manion for allowing me to be part of the IFBB. I would also like to thank all of the wonderful judges on the panel this weekend, Robin Chang for putting on another amazing Mr. Olympia weekend.
To all of my girlies out there, keep those dreams alive, chase them down. If you want something bad enough, just stick to the plan and you will get it. Don’t be discouraged if it takes a little longer, because the best things in life don’t come easy.
Thank you Muscular Development and FitnessRx for allowing me to share my thoughts and advice in attempts to motivate and inspire others to begin or continue the journey they desire.
