Should You Go To The Chiropractor?
Benefits You May Not Know About
When people ask me if they should go to the chiropractor, the first question I always ask is, “Well, do you have a spine?” And if the answer is yes, then we're off to a good start!

The “why” for all these people as to what made them successful may vary slightly, but big picture is simply that they made it part of their LIFESTYLE and daily routines. So if you are at a spot in your fitness routine where you are being tempted to stop, or maybe you haven’t even started yet, here are the 4 things that I urge you do to make your gym routine STICK.
If I had to choose one shoulder exercise to do for the rest of my life, standing barbell shoulder press would probably be it! I love this movement for several reasons, but mostly because of how powerful it makes me feel when I'm doing it.
In Japan, saunas are everywhere and everyone goes to them, so naturally I went and was hooked. It wasn't so much how I felt while I was in there (which was hot and uncomfortable— this was because I wasn't acclimated to them yet!) But AFTER being in one, everything felt better— I slept better, recovered faster and my skin always looked better. So I started doing a little research on them, and here is what I found:
This week I am going to cover the Cybex Arc, if your gym has one, or you can use the elliptical. These machines are designed to take the impact out on your legs of your cardio, so they are great for alternating days with other pieces of cardio equipment.
There are SO many reasons to take progress photos when you are trying to reach your fitness & health goals, but let’s start with one reason most people may not consider that has NOTHING to do with looks. Last week we talked about glute imbalances & some of you asked “how would you even know?”. Well a lot of the questions I received came from competitors who take progress photos and they can SEE it in their photos! Now you might be thinking, how “superficial” or “so what”, consider this!
Is it was normal for one glute to be larger than the other? And the answer is YES! Just as you can be quad dominant and they can take over movements hindering your glute progress, the same thing can happen in your glutes.
Often on social media we hear everyone talking about lifting "heavy", I know am! But very rarely do we talk about how to lift heavy SAFELY. The problem with using the word heavy is that it means something different to everyone, it is all relative, what is heavy to me may NOT be heavy to you etc.
Do you ever feel like you are hitting the gym hard and being consistent with your diet but you’re just not seeing all these “gains” everyone else is? You don’t’ understand it, you’ve been training for months and months even years! But every time you go on instagram you feel like everyone is growing but you? Well maybe it’s time to add in some drop sets!
I think it safe to say most people love massages, but I also think a lot of people think of massages as “pampering.” I know when I am going in for a massage, I am not thinking about pampering or even excited for that matter, because I know it's going to be uncomfortable! I think of it as recovery and “fixing” the damage that I have done to my soft tissues through working out, sitting, sleeping and just being a human in general.
