No Gym, No Problem – Part 2

Total Body Workout You Can Do Anywhere!

Going on vacation this summer and can’t find a gym? No problem! Here’s another workout you can do that only requires tennis shoes and an iPod. Unlike last week’s workout, this one can be completed indoors. So if you are away from home with no gym and exercising outdoors is not an option, this is the perfect indoor workout to get your body working. You may also want to keep this one aside for those winter months, so you can get an efficient when it’s too cold to venture outdoors!

THE INDOOR-ANYWHERE WORKOUT #2

Note: Perform this workout sequence 2-3 times and go as fast as possible with good form.

15 sets of switch lunges, then hold in a left lunge for 30 seconds-1 minute

15 sets of switch lunges, then hold in a right lunge for 30 seconds-1 minute

15 sets of switch lunges

20 mountain climbs, then 10 standard push-ups (reach back in child’s pose for 10 seconds)

20 mountain climbs, then 10 wide push-ups  (reach back in child’s pose for 10 seconds)

20 mountain climbs, then 10 narrow push-ups (reach back in child’s pose for 10 seconds)

10 wide high jumps, then 30 seconds-1 minute wide squat hold

10 narrow high jumps, then 30 seconds-1 minute narrow squat hold

10 standard high jumps, then 30 seconds-1 minute standard squat hold

15 jumping jacks, then 20-50 high punches

15 jumping jacks, then 20-50 standard punches

15 jumping jacks, then 20-50 low punches
