What’s In The Gym Bag? - Always be prepared with these training must-haves!
This morning before heading to the gym, I thought it would be a good idea to share what kind of items I keep in my gym bag and why. If you are like me, you carry your gym bag around a lot; so keeping it filled with the right items is essential. Here are my gym bag must-haves:

Supplements. I always bring my Gaspari Nutrition products with me in my gym bag. These include SuperDrive Pre-workout, DetonateXT Thermogenic (a great boost of energy for when I’m dragging), Anavite Multivitamin and Aminolast (a high quality amino acid that I drink during my workout that helps with muscular endurance, repair and recovery). Last, but not least, is my trusty shaker bottle, which houses many of my drinkable supplements

What’s In The Gym Bag? - Always be prepared with these training must-haves!My Cardillo Custom Weightbelt. This item comes in handy, especially on leg day. It’s great for lower back support and keeps the waist feeling tight.

Lifting Gloves. My Better Bodies lifting gloves are great fo grip when lifting heavy. They protect my hands from calluses as well.

Wrist Wraps. Another great Better Bodies item that I use for shoulder and back day. This item offers wrist support.

Lifting Straps. This item helps me grip on to heavy things. I will admit that I do not have the best grip, so I use this a lot when deadlifting and well as doing lat pull downs.

Neoprene Shorts. These shorts help me sweat during cardio, as I am not prone to sweating very easily.

Bikini. I bring this with me for when I practice my competition posing, or if I want to take a dip in the pool or hot tub before or after my workout.

Hand Sanitizer. Kills germs and helps to prevent illness. I use after I lift and/or before I eat my post workout meal.

What’s In The Gym Bag? - Always be prepared with these training must-haves!Hair Band. If I am having a bad hair day or I did not have time to smooth out my hair frizz, I use this item to keep the little whispies out of my face. They can be quite distracting!

Chapstick. Cold winter air can sure take a toll on my lips! Chapstick keeps them hydrated, smooth and healthy.

Gum. If I am still craving food after I have eaten my post workout meal, a piece of gum will quiet my hunger.

Plastic Silverware. For my post workout meal

Post-workout Meal (in blue container). This one happens to be 4oz ground turkey with ½ cup white rice and ½ cup brown rice with plenty of hot sauce and chili powder…Yum!

Stevia Packets. In case I decide to go for a nice iced coffee before my workout, which is a great alternative to a pre-workout drink!

Gallon of Water. Okay, so this doesn’t technically go inside of my bag, but I always bring it along with me! It is important to stay hydrated during your workouts.

Neoprene Waist Wrap. As I mentioned before, I do not sweat very easily and this item helps me quickly get warm, especially around the abdominal and lower back area. This is also great to put underneath my weightbelt, as it acts like a cushion so that the belt does not dig into my skin.

Competition Shoes. For bikini posing practice.

Victoria’s Secret Body Spray. To stay nice and fresh during and after workouts.

Thanks for reading! Off to the gym I go…
