How Does Thermo Heat Nighttime Work?
Just a few short months ago, I reviewed Advanced Molecular Labs’ Thermo Heat Daytime product, and this product delivered! It was specifically designed to torch body fat by working on multiple levels of fat burning mechanisms. Unlike many other fat burners that simply focus on one or two pathways, Thermo Heat Daytime covered off every angle, including turning up the body’s thermogenesis (or calorie burning ability), supporting healthy thyroid metabolism and reducing appetite resulting in a very effective, well researched supplement! So, needless to say, my expectations for Thermo Heat Nighttime were very high!
Thermo Heat Nighttime is the complement to the Daytime product discussed above. However, instead of energizing and stimulating, the Nighttime product promotes relaxation while still facilitating fat loss. Specifically, the Thermo Heat Nighttime formulation has replaced many of the stimulatory ingredients, including caffeine and synephrine, with relaxation ingredients such as GABA, L-Theanine and Melatonin to reduce stress and facilitate a better night’s sleep—all while still burning fat and suppressing nighttime appetite.
Burn Fat While You Sleep
I know what you are thinking: “Burning fat while sleeping is impossible since you’re not doing any work.” Actually, this isn’t true. If your nutrition and training are on point, sufficient, quality sleep can lead to increased weight loss and supplementing with certain ingredients can help your body to burn fat more effectively day and night.
Just like the original Thermo Heat Daytime formula, the premise of the fat burning mechanism remains the same. Thermo Heat Nighttime focuses on stimulating BAT, or brown adipose tissue, by activating the TRPV receptors located in the gastrointestinal tract and the oral cavity. TRPV, also known as transient receptor potential vanilloid, is a receptor that helps regulate body temperature and, when activated, triggers noradrenaline release. Noradrenaline is a key fat burning hormone. Thermo Heat Nighttime delivers Cayenne Pepper Fruit Extract, standardized for capsaicinoids, which has been shown to activate TRPV receptors in human clinical research, helping to stimulate noradrenaline release and drive BAT thermogenesis.
Reduce Nighttime Hunger
In addition to the capsaicinoids’ ability to stimulate fat burning, this ingredient has also been found to reduce appetite! Although it is not completely understood how capsaicinoids have an appetite-reducing effect, it has been shown in human trials to reduce food intake and the desire to eat, which can help combat nighttime hunger cravings when dieting! It is possible that capsaicinoids ability to reduce appetite is due to its ability to stimulate noradrenaline. When this pathway is stimulated, appetite is naturally suppressed. However, it could also be the result of an increase in the GLP-1 hormone, which regulates regions of the brain that manage food intake causing reduced hunger.
Either way, the feel and effect is very real—even if you don’t understand the science! Taken 30 minutes before my last meal of the day, I found that I was not reaching for late-night snacks and my cravings for any sugary carbs were completely smashed!
Promote Relaxation & Get a Better Night’s Sleep
If you didn’t know sleep was important to any fat burning or muscle-building program, let me tell you, IT IS! During sleep, the body recovers from the stress it faced during the day—whether that was in the form of a tough workout, a busy day at work or, in my case, double time of both. Without a good night’s sleep, it is impossible to make a full recovery. What’s more, poor sleep can cause the body’s hormonal system to be out of balance resulting in blood glucose instability, the triggering of catabolic pathways and the shutting off of fat burning! Research has even shown that lack of sleep can lead to weight gain. If that’s not a good enough reason to get a better night’s sleep, I’m not sure what is.

Exactly what I needed coming back from a two-week vacation in a completely different time zone!
In addition, Thermo Heat Nighttime includes 5-HTP, which is a natural precursor to serotonin. Increasing serotonin not only improves mood and promotes feelings of relaxation, it also can reduce appetite and curb cravings for sugary carbs—perfect for putting an end to my nighttime hunger!
Lastly, Thermo Heat Nighttime delivers GABA, which is a neurotransmitter that can promote relaxation while reducing feelings of anxiety and stress. It can also help trigger the release of growth hormone, which is key hormone involved in recovery, muscle building and fat loss, particularly during sleep!
My Thermo Heat Nighttime Experience
As mentioned, I spent the better part of this summer doing double time, between work, training and dieting for numerous shoots. This was followed by a vacation in a completely different time zone.
