We all have something that ignites a fire within us. Some of us know exactly what our triggers are, while others are still searching to find that indescribable feeling. If you have lost motivation or feels that you just can’t find drive or inspiration— that nothing can uplift you— then read the first sentence to this again. Repeat it to yourself.
If it’s something you wish to change, then the first step you must take is to figure out what it is in your life that has caused this loss of confidence, the negativity, and other things alike. You must want to get to the bottom of the issue and not be in denial. Put all aspects of your life into perspective and dig deep. If you truly want an answer you WILL find it.
Once you have figured out the root of reason why you may not be as motivated as you once were (or maybe have never felt motivated), then it’s time to come up with a solution that will bring improvements. After you have spent some time working on that, then you have more thinking to do. What is one thing in your life that you have always dreamt of doing? Or something that deep down you are unsure of but would LOVE to try? Any type of goal, any type of desire to do something is enough to help you bring out motivation within yourself.
Now ask yourself this— why do I want to accomplish this goal? How will accomplishing it make me feel? Regardless of the reasons you came up with, one thing is certain and that is that you will learn a lot about yourself throughout your journey— positive things, of course. You just have to want something bad enough. Once you get on a steady road towards a goal, it is much easier to ignite a spark. If you feel it, fuel off of it and let it take you to the finish line.
It’s an amazing feeling to work towards something and in the end get what you EARNED. As women, it’s even more special because I feel we already have to work harder for anything in this world just to receive an equal amount of respect. It’s a new year and times are changing— women are stronger and are showing their power! I think it’s time for you to show yours!
Until next week, girls!
