Hey there ladies, Coach Holly here! After many years in the gym, I’ve worn just about every brand of fitness clothing on the market. I remember when the only place to get clothes to wear to the gym was a sporting goods store— when yoga pants were called stirrup pants and we wore sweatpants and crop tops, not $98 leggings!
So trust me when I say that I have wasted a lot of time and money on the wrong clothes, and endured quite a few embarrassing moments squatting, deadlifting and sweating through transparent tights and tops. I’m here to help keep you from making the same mistakes I have, so I’m bringing you my reviews!! Be on the lookout for the good, the bad and the really, really sweaty— every week, in my “Gym Outfit of The Week” #GOOTW
Lululemon continues to be one of my favorite brands to wear, but that doesn’t mean I absolutely love all of the pieces – or that they fit the same from pattern to pattern or even style to style size wise.
Crops: lululemon, Wunder Under, Size 2

Size 26 in jeans
Size medium (6) in most tops
CROPS
Love the pattern! I’ll buy a camo anything :) but I was not overly impressed with the fit unfortunately even though I have a lot of these. It seems like the patterned pieces just fit differently. I am normally a size 2 in these and I should have gotten a size 4. After I washed them twice though, they got softer and fit better. They dont show ANY sweat, there’s a bit of yanking on the booty necessary to keep them in place, but overall they aren’t slipping and sliding when squatting, lunging or running.
REALLY wanted to love these more and have tried other pieces/styles of her brand before. Great price, print and unique color. While they are extremely flattering and comfy, they do not move well at all during a workout, they stick to your legs, and the material doesn’t have a lot of “give”. They look great, but they’re not comfortable or functional.
CROP SIZING: Small, these fit a bit tighter than a normal size 2.
CROP SWEAT TEST: No sweat to be seen at all -even after cardio! Impressive.
TANK TOP
Under Armour Women’s HeatGear Armour Racer: Nice amount of “fit” and stretch. Doesn’t have any padding or cups on the inside, so a bra is necessary. I went back and bought 4 more in other colors right away.
TANK TOP SIZING: I went down another size in this tank top (I am normally a size Small, because it seemed long to me and I didn’t want to look like I was wearing a mini-dress over my crops. Glad I did! An x-small fit very well.
TANK TOP SWEAT TEST: Shows alllllll of the sweat. Every. Single. Drop. BUT, I also really put this tank top through a tough workout and then cardio, so, sweat was inevitable.
